We only have so much time on this earth, I hate that useless work takes up so much of it and the time we have off can’t be enjoyed cause we’re too broke to do fun stuff. I wish we could all just stop but we know our gas/electricity/water would be turned off- I wish we could have a “if we all do it they have to take all of us on” but we won’t. Idk how desperate we’ll have to be to come together but survival mode makes people selfish, which divides us further 😩

i feel the same & i’m not sure what else to do 😩 i started being even more strict with my money/budget so that i can execute a plan to retire early because i’m already exhausted at 32 (i work in finance). but the way this economy is set up, i’m not sure i’ll be able to retire that early. it’s all just so exhausting.

I know it’s not the same…but I agree with this take, and I’m having a hard time at 37 years old, accepting that YT people pay us less, and not thanks to Orange, can be openly racist. All this ON TOP of working 9-5 and having to be “professional”, in fear of losing my income. Most are one paycheck away. I’m sick of it too, and I work 3 jobs, one day, one night, and passive income. All 5 days a week, I refuse to work on Sat/Sun. I’m in accounting, and don’t have that choice firing qtr-end/year-end

Labor is a choice we've believed to be absolutely necessary. It wasn't until I jumped blindly and threw it all away (I was called but a fool but 10 years later, I regret nothing. Broke is bountiful)
