$120 in Jordan is a lot of money. The median monthly income is $500. That MRI is almost 25% of the monthly salary for someone.

Basically, anywhere in the world medical care only in America is broken and it is the most expensive in the world. It doesn’t have to be more than any country. You will get much better care on the spot for way less money and no insurance.

I agree with you 100% we did my son’s teeth in Jordan. It was $700 for one dental visit in the USA for one of my sons , Where a couple hundred dollars we had almost all the teeth done, same thing for medical visits, no complications no appointment needed. Just pick up the phone call and go for lab test same day for doctor visit same day. It’s very simple and very cheap.

I had the same exact experience lol had my MRI downstairs saw the neurologist upstairs and he referred me to his neurosurgeon buddy across the hall all in one day 😭😭

Thissss! But it’s so sad for Jordanians and ppl who live there bcz they don’t get any health insurance and minimum wage is $300 a month for full time and sometimes even overtime..

Exactly, my MIL had a fall, it cost all of $70 for an ambulance, her treatment, CT, PT, medicine and follow ups.

You can’t compare the US to Jordan where the median income is $400 but I agree when you go to private hospital they will do it on the spot
