I decreased the amount of nursing time by 2-3 minutes every other night until we dropped the feed and I would do that for each feed. He eventually stopped waking up for it and if he did, I was able to just offer the pacifier.

Do you nurse him to sleep at bedtime still? I’d start there! He has to learn he can put himself to sleep so he can learn to put himself back to sleep. And then middle of the night is now dads turn! 🤣 baby knows who he’s got!

Hi! I have an 8 month old and we aren’t night weaning but my husband does any of the resettles if he wakes before midnight. How we resettle in the crib is I will try to get my head pretty close to him and shhhh shh a little and either pat his butt or rub his back. My husband gives firmer butt pats than me and I think he prefers that somehow lol

Send dad in for all night wakings! He can soothe him but not feed. Eventually he will stop waking up because he just wants the boob and he’s not getting it. This worked for us when I left on a trip! Went from waking up 3 times a night to sleeping through the night

I just started giving the paci in the middle of the night. And not pick him up bc he would expect to nurse. It took a while
