I use playwright-cli with Claude for web browser integration. Codex is faster though. Not sure a want to spend another $200 month.

I think we’re in the era of both Claude and Codex being so good that they likely are both more than enough to accomplish the needs of most people. Fable and Astra are both impressive but even Opus is probably more than enough to handle the real work of 90% of programmers. Now the real skill is restraint from constantly switching based on the premium model being impressive. Like if you’re already able to do what you need with Opus then switching to Codex just because Astra is impressive is a net negative for your process. I’m convinced the people model hopping every release aren’t actually accomplishing anything useful because their process would benefit more from stability than overpowered technology. It’s fine if you’re using it for unique edge cases that Opus can’t handle but most people who are excited about Astra are stuck in a consumerism mindset where they’re wasting tokens just because they lack the restraint to admit their use case already got solved by Opus levels. The people that truly need Fable/Asta for their apps is rare.

bro my claude code terminal uses browser, it can connect any way it's possible to connect to browser mcp, playwright, every time my agent pushes code I have 3 sub agents testing 1 trough browser same as human 2looks at code only 3 checks design consitity to make it even faster sometime subagent makes its own subagents each testing did part off app in browser to speed up process, worst take why codex is better

But none are great for novel technologies. Only when you want to build something that has already been done before…
