People always leave off the 93% atheism. Authoritarianism. Strict social rules creating order and high expectations for their citizens. 99% of the planet can attempt to replicate it through “Proper tax allocation”. They will all fail because of WHO they ARE. Cultural, ideological cavemen.

Thanks for helping to address the warped perspective most Westerners have of China. They have demonstrated what is possible when government is focused on improving the quality of life for the general population. I traveled to China 52 times between 2005 and 2020 and live in Beijing for a few years. China was transformed during this period. While there is not freedom of speech to criticize the government, they are way ahead of the US in overall human rights.

Absolutely accurate assessment. I have also never lived in China but visited frequently since 1990 & witnessed the incredible transformation. The US & Russia are fading very fast. Europe - with the exception of a few former communist states - has completely lost its way & has no strategy for anything important. The combination of China & the global south will be the next massive transformation of humankind: that’s what terrifies the former powers

First, you need to understand why all of this happened, the system behind it. 1) One-party political system: They have a one-party political system, so there is no multiparty democracy. Within the system, performance is an important factor in the promotion of officials. This has encouraged different regions and local governments within China to compete with one another. 2) Land reforms: Land was acquired from people by the government and private developers, often with compensation. In many cases, people were given money, replacement housing, or apartment units as part of the compensation package. 3) Punishment for corruption: China can impose extremely severe penalties for corruption, including the death penalty in particularly serious cases. This is especially relevant when government officials are involved and the scale of corruption is very large. 4) Media control: The media is not free in China either. The Chinese government exercises extensive control over the information its population receives and uses state and regulated media to shape what people see and hear. 5) These things can't be done in a democracy with a large population.

Not really I live in China it’s some parts of China that is good however they don’t really pay attention to other parts all money goes to the tier one cities

Indeed, I feel awkward when others say that life in China is in the future. China will propose a development plan and implement it; it's just that some ten-year plans were completed a few years earlier than planned.
