I’d take my chances in court. The speed was extremely slow and the person had the opportunity to remove himself from the road (which isn’t a place for pedestrians anyway).

Yeah this is 100% clickbate, and he’s going against what the actual law entails in most municipalities. Also, no reasonable minded person would actively throw themselves in back of a car that’s reversing into a parking spot or try to lay down under the back wheel intentionally, as it prevents the driver from actually seeing the person who is breaking the law — the individual in the street. You’d get smoked in court on this one

Also illegal, I believe everywhere, to use any object (including your person) to block or save a parking space on a public street, so the pedestrian has the legal obligation to get out of the way.
