@genuinelygenesis: When I think of my mama, I think of the world I’d like to give her. She raised three kids by herself in a foreign country with no degree (in the U.S.) and did everything in her power to give us a life filled with love. We were broke, but rich with care. My life is easy compared to my mom’s and every day I remind myself that its ease is because of her determination to change future generations. No machismo. No poverty. No more sacrifice. I get to live as an empowered Latina because of her. She set the example. And for that, I thank her 🤍🤎 Happy Hispanic Heritage month! ✨🇧🇴
