Hello! I work for the news and the water (under the water right itself) has to return to the river. I’ve taken multiple classes on this in school and have done live interviews on the radio. A, it it Currently it is not owned by the government either but there is a lot going into protecting the water right to make sure everything it managed and made sure it returns to the river even when the power plant no longer exists. This water right is huge and expensive and is not yet protected
