The way I see it is, the only move Carney has is to latch on to a superpower like China and do his best to leverage a relationship with them. It will fail miserably.

canada will become a puppet state to china if they do not change course. the real fight that is going on right now is globalism and nationalism. carney is selling out canada to perpetuate globalism because he is the very embodiment of it. canada doesn't survive this if china takes hold. not through the liberal ideological lense at least. all of the social beliefs that canada has will be stripped the moment china takes hold. if you think the us will just stand by while this happens you're wrong. Taiwan isnt just on the menu. Japan and south Korea are as well.
