@al173375: Psalm 7- Insights The Psalmist encourages trust in God and prayers, for deliverance from enemies. The Psalmist in a rare presentation meditated presumptively in negative prayer mode against himself-v5. The Psalmist prayed to God to arise in anger to his defense against enemies-v6. The Psalmist reminds us in v8 that the Lord shall judge the people. The plaintive cry of the Psalmist in v9 : Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just, reminds us of the duality common in the Holy Bible: the separation between positive and negative dimensions. God is the righteous judge who judges both the righteous,and is angry with the wicked everyday. The wrath of God against the wicked activates God's Instruments of death v13. The Psalmist pointed out the wicked for setting evil plots or setting traps for the innocent and the righteous. God reversal and rebound mystery makes the violence of the violent dealer to return upon his own head-v15-16. The Psalmist encourages the faithful that through praises to God, and prayers in name of God,the faithful should be rest assured that God will deliver at the ordained time.
