I love animal bones but I have this weird thing with specimen that are in jars and still have skin. I am also scared that I will be called a poser because of this can someone explain it to me in a way that won't make it seem effed up? I know as goths we're supposed to have a tendency towards the morbid and disturbing and an understand towards being mortal, but i still struggle with not finding wet specimen gross.

people continually try to make it just about one thing like "oh its about the music" "oh its about the politics" when its litterally about all of it. everyone goes into each part of it more than others, but especially loving the macabre. like you cant have one and not the other. its all of these different things in tandem that makes goth what it is

personally I just dont like taxidermy the animal already had to pass to feed us it just personally feel disrespected to make them a trophy or what have you to each their own, just a personal thing
