A decent well built fully furnished studio for 500 a month. WiFi, water, garbage, sewage, and electricity is free. Close to work. I’m middle class so won’t get robbed by cat woman. Was attempted to be mugged once and a ten year old with a sword saved me. I think I got enthralled by Poison Ivy once? Then got a check from playboy billionaire philanthropist Bruce Wayne for 10k that said “I’m sorry”. No idea what that was about, whatever, it cleared.

TBH if you look at supervillains of Gotham vs the other cities, the gothamites have it really good. They had to power scale for Batman's lack of superpowers. you do NOT want to live in metropolis when it's time to fight a villain. Gotham just has terrible Regular Crime Rates
