they were together for 14 months. they only just broke up in july, and we started talking in september and started dating later in september. i feel so insecure about it, like a rebound, and we’ve talked about it, and he says there is no resounding feelings and that i am not a rebound at all, and that even tho they were together for so long, the breakup was a long time coming so he has no feelings about her. i wish i could turn off my brain but it just wont let me believe it.

I didn’t think it would affect me so much because ive known him since 5th grade but she dated him all 4 years of highschool. That time in your life when you start to show who you really are. All his firsts were with her. I moved and went through a lot, i feel like im just filling her spot. He tells me thats not what it is but i feel like i should leave so can come back. he was drunk yesterday and i had to log in on his phone to text his parents, he told me his code was still her birth date. i asked him what it was and he started spelling her name, when he gave me the code i found a poem he wrote for a girl and i think it was for her💔
