I think that’s why I will never understand having royalty in any country in the world nowadays. We are okay with people being born disgustingly rich and will never have to truly work. Yet someone who came from nothing trying their best to improve their lives is looked down upon some how?? The entire commonwealth has the tall poppy syndrome. They all knock each other down when someone is truly improving themselves. It doesn’t even have to be financially but even when they start to lose weight, dress different they are met with such disdain. America has tons of problems but grit and determination and truly trying to stand out is not one of them
