Yes, there are those who worship their desires instead of God, as God said: "Have you seen the one who takes as his god his own desire?" And when we delve deeper into the matter by looking back at the time of Prophet Muhammad, and when we go even deeper into the psychology of the disbelievers of Mecca who did not believe in the Messenger, we find that this fierce defense of the idols was not actually about the idols themselves. They knew they were just stones they had carved with their own hands; in truth, they were defending their desires and worshiping their desires, not the idols. They wanted to do whatever they pleased, especially the tribal leaders, without a religion telling them "do this" and "do not do that." Therefore, when a religion came that made the slave and the master equal, stating that there is no superiority between them except by piety, and a religion that told them "do not commit adultery, do not cheat, do not steal, and give of your wealth to the poor," they inevitably rejected it. Consequently, they did not disbelieve in Prophet Muhammad because of a lack of proof or because the Quran was unconvincing—on the contrary, they realized this was not the speech of humans. Yet, they worshiped their desires, and the result was the denial of the truth even though it was abundantly clear to them. That is why God said about them: "And they denied and followed their desires" in Surah Al-Qamar.

when you mentioned God's love , I remembered what my teacher taught me in Quran class . she said that the name " Allah " comes from the root " wa- la - ha" which is the highest degree of love . you love good soo mich that you don't need any other love in your life . you worship him in the most perfect way possible , you only come back to him , and live your life waiting for the day you see his face .

GOD split his mercy to 100 parts... only 1 part of his mercy is what we see here on earth ( mother's love, rain, nature, health....etc ) ..... and he kept 99 part of his mercy to the day of judgement, that's how much Allah is mercifull 🥰
