@natalie.ljy: Short sprints are good for your health! Note : This video was taken before the recent haze conditions in Malaysia. Do check your air quality before doing outdoor activities. Just a few short bursts can do a lot for our health! 🫀 Cardiovascular fitness — Sprinting improves how efficiently your body uses oxygen (VO2 max), which is closely linked to heart health and longevity. 🩸 Insulin sensitivity — Sprinting uses up your muscles' stored energy fast, and afterward your body works to refill it by pulling glucose from your blood. This trains your body to manage blood sugar more efficiently over time. 🦴 Bone strength — Sprinting is a high-impact activity, and your bones respond to that impact by becoming denser and stronger over time. Something low-impact cardio doesn't do as effectively. If you're new to this, start with short 10-20 second sprints!
