i love the animes representation of how he changed and evolved as a person over the course of the events of the series, but my only peeve is that when they were showing middle school Deku in the first few episodes they didn't make it as obvious he was mentally ill unlike the beginning of the manga

i love the anime but i just hate how little the bullying affected Midoryia. Like yeah ofc im not trying to diminish bullying but the bullying didnt even cross his mind after he got into UA, he was bullied for like 9-10 years and it confused me so much on how little it mentally impacted him. Yeah ofc people can heal but Deku's healing process was literally a few minutes
