I’m a woodworker and we had tons of eucalyptus logs in our backyard. When I was young I tried splitting one to use it. It was my first time splitting any wood and these were like a decade old. Tried for a bit then thought this must be the hardest wood ever and I just didn’t know it. Moved to a full electric chainsaw but it was taking ages so I gave up lol.
