The sad reality is that the Chinese food places we knew and loved are going to be gone. Many of them started these places to help pay for their kids’ education. Now many of them are doctors or lawyers or whatnot. None of them want to take over the business, and many don’t want their kids to. With the rising prices of everything, the cost of operation is getting high even for “cheap” Chinese places. So they sell off the business, but it won’t be the same or, in this case, close… so enjoy your local favorite spots while you can! 🥺🫶

That one tiktok was true. It said our favorite Chinese spots will start to close up bc the next generations have become doctors lawyers etc. restaurants is a lot of work! 💜
