this is all good but please keep in mind people also love to test the limits of how bad they can treat employees!! customer service is important, but advocating for your employees is too. you could lose your best employees if they don’t feel heard or valued

That’s accurate. The food and boba is fire but I stopped coming because the customer service was just as bad as Spirit Airlines.

in its first years, i knew PLB for its friendly, filipino hospitality atmosphere and how close the team seemed based off mutuals and social media postings of team bonding. then i noticed less familiar faces around the store and the quality falling off. i would get hard boba and poorly measured taro milk tea (would come out brown without taro flavor). i stopped coming for a long time since then. i recently revisited and noticed the bounce back in quality. wishing y’all the best! i know a lot of ppl who would still go PLB solely for the chamorro burrito so that’s definitely a specialty item that ppl may not want changed

I’ve been going to this place for a long time and have recommended it to may people. I personally have never had an issue with their costumer service, they’re always super friendly and fast with orders. But I’ve recently stopped going as often just cause their drinks don’t taste like they used to. (Specifically the taro) It’s always a hit-or-miss. As well with their tapioca pearls, always very hard. This once was my go-to boba place. Please take these reviews as constructive feedback to help make the shop even better! I’m only sharing this because I really love this spot and want to see it thrive again.❤️

Pants or Jeans should be a clothing requirement for the staff. If it’s hot, cargo shorts. the sweats are not it

My friend wanted to go to peace love and boba and I totally fought with her not to go. so I made a bet with her that no one will say welcome or how can I help you. I totally WON a free boba! The cashier said what do you want and didn’t even say thank you when we paid. Glad you guys are finally admitting it.

Change the dress code for whoever is in front of the house. They look very intimidating. Acknowledge every guest coming in and leaving. Take out “I don’t want to do it” in your meeting. Use “WE have to do it” instead.

To be fair,I feel like a lot of the younger generations are completely lacking in the good customer service area,almost every customer service position. Can’t even got through a drive through and get a “hi,how are you today…or thank you for waiting “ … great job taking immediate action from the feedback. I’ve never heard of your restaurant but we will definitely try and make our way over asap from Dixon !

The customer service imo wasn’t ever awful, but back in the day there was a very friendly atmosphere that I think slowly got away. There’s definitely time to turn that around

I used to love coming here but the last couple of times I’ve come in there is no one in the front when I walk in, and when I was getting my order taken it seemed like they were annoyed at me for trying to decide between what flavor to get (there was nobody in there or behind me) so the next time I came in I said hi and tried to be more friendly thinking maybe It was me that was the issue but I got the same exact experience and haven’t been back since.

My mom and I come here almost every day and only certain employees will make conversation and the small talk but the rest feels like “don’t really want to be here bye” which is understandable a few times but yk coming in so often it feels like it won’t be that woah experience if certain people aren’t working. But it’s awesome how involved you are

In my opinion, there are so many boba places nearby. You have to figure out how to stand out. Any store can give great customer service but what makes your boba store extraordinary. I would invest in new seating and new scenery. Pop of color, Photo Booth wall, etc. I do a lot with marketing due to my industry. Lmk if you need more opinions ❤️sending love & good vibez 🫶🏻
