They had signs up all over. This happens every year. That's why the park and rides exist. They have given permission to park there Aldi did not to keep the lot free for their customers. I'm not surprised you got towed. Of course the price goes up and is more expensive for state fair.

Only park in designated park and ride lots or lots designated for state fair parking. Businesses do not play about using their lots for state fair parking. They will likely figure it out and they will likely have your car towed.
