@bonniemarie123: Being a parent is probably life’s biggest roller coaster, especially for those with child who has special-needs. One year ago, I found myself in a situation where I felt concern, worry, and even panic. My hope is that this video will reach any parent who is in a similar situation and who is feeling the way that I felt. Have faith, because sometimes things just have a funny way of working out. #parents #specialneeds #backtoschool
As an educator in one of these classes….this was the sweetest share for the first day of school!! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for the post. It was great to hear my daughter started today for the first time in a foundations of learning program as she also tests in the 1st percentile. It was nerve-wracking for all but seeing that she came home today happy and having a good day means the world.

love you and your fam. we also have a struggler and teachers and us parents who go out for these kids are so vital!! I wish for one week Ford could come see first hand what it's like and be in the classrooms etc and see how much more supports and just love our kids need alongside our amazing teachers, ma's etc and parents. So stressed when get report cards or seeing homework struggles+meltdowns etc and heartbreaking words of 'I'm stupid'...
lots of love to you and other families, like ours, doing our best and trying to grow our precious ones

What a beautiful reminder! Thank you for sharing. It brightened my morning. Watching this on the first day of school, as my kids are at home because they don't have EA support (school is trying). Having faith that it will change.

As parents, we all have concerns & fears for our kids with learning difficulties. Our daughter had the psycho-educational assessment in grade 6 after yrs of struggling. She had IPP, was given 1 on 1 support in grades 7 & 8, then resource for grades 9-12. Today, she begins her 4th yr of university & is excelling in life. Advocating for your child starts early & is a lot of work but is completely worth it. 🥰
