@spiritsspeakwithjeannie: Today, September 8th, holds a special place in my heart. It is the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the day many Christians celebrate Mary's birth. Being raised Catholic, I've always felt a special closeness to Mary. Whether you're Catholic or not, it's easy to see why so many people find comfort in her. She wasn't a queen living in luxury. She was a woman who walked this earth, lived a simple life, knew uncertainty, and didn't have great wealth. She experienced joy, fear, and unimaginable heartbreak as she watched her son suffer and die. To me, that's what makes Mary so relatable. She understands the human experience. She knows what it means to love deeply, to grieve, to trust, and to keep going even when life doesn't make sense. May her strength, compassion, and unwavering faith continue to inspire us to lead with kindness, hope, and unconditional love. Happy Feast Day, Mary.
