I’ve been posting consistently (multiple times a day) for over 8 months in hopes of growing my family’s skincare business. My parents are in their mid 70’s and they are still working because they have a mortgage to pay off. I’m talking, I’m trying to be creative and try different avenues with my content and to this day; I’ve only made $72 off of this app. I know our story is unique. I know our handmade skincare products are unique. And yet here I am, not making 9k from yapping on this app. 9k would change our lives and it’s my GOAL… my absolute DREAM to get there one day by growing on social media. But ultimately… everyone’s journey is different. You have been so blessed, you are so genuinely lucky and of course you’re hardworking too. But it’s not that easy for most of us. 🥺

Because it's not that easy as it seems, TikTok is now filled with so many people who have their expertise of talking built in the audience and the algorithm pushes them rather than someone new. It took me on my other account a good 4 years to hit over 1k.
