Do you spend 10 minutes every morning trying to remember where you left off in Claude Code? Reading files, re-explaining context, and watching Claude guess what you were doing? There's a built-in feature that fixes this permanently, and many solo builders don't even know about it. Introducing `/recap` – it automatically generates a session summary when you return. This tells you exactly what you were working on, which files were modified, and where you stopped. Turn 10 minutes into 10 seconds! Here's how to enable it: 1. Open Claude Code. 2. Type `/config`. 3. Navigate to `sessionRecap`. 4. Set it to `enabled`. YouYou can also trigger it manually anytime with `/recap`. For an always-on version, add this line to your `~/.zshrc` or `~/.bashrc`: `export CLAUDE_CODE_ENABLE_AWAY_SUMMARY=1` Then, run `source ~/.zshrc` (or `~/.bashrc`).
