@thecutemedic: Night shift work has been known to be a big contributor to many health conditions for a long time. However, in a society where a lot of services run on a 24 hour basis, it is unavoidable that some people will have to do night shift work. If you can avoid it, it is better for you in the long run. If not, like myself, make sure you are finding time to rest, you are doing the basics of eating healthily, exercising and maintaining your circadian rhythm as much as you can. This is much more difficult with children, but as much as you can, it’s important that you try! #fyp #health #nightshift #wellness #creatorsearchinsights

I got lucky in that my 1st engineering job had 12 hour night shifts that nearly killed me. It was 4 nights and I got 4-3-2-1 hour worth of sleep the 4 days. I left operations and went to design. Never again. Now retired.
