Alize, it’s been 3 years, 10 months, and 25 days, and somehow I’m still grieving you the same way I did when I first found out you passed away. I don’t think there’s ever really going to be a day where I don’t miss you. Losing you changed a part of me that I don’t think anyone will ever understand. You were my best friend, but you were also a sister to me. You were one of the very few people who truly understood me — my personality, my humor, my moods, even the parts of me that I didn’t have to explain because you just got it. I could be completely myself around you without ever feeling judged or misunderstood. This video is just a little glimpse of how much I enjoyed your company and how it was truly never a dull moment with us. We could laugh over the dumbest things, make each other laugh until our stomachs hurt, and somehow turn the most ordinary moments into memories I wish I could relive a thousand times. Sometimes I catch myself wanting to call you, tell you something, or laugh about something I know only you would understand. Then I remember you’re not here, and that realization still hurts just as much. I hate that I have to remember you through pictures and videos instead of making new memories with you. I wish you could see how much I still talk about you. I wish you could see how many times your name comes up and how much love people still have for you. Most of all, I wish you could know that you are still so deeply loved and missed. There are so many things I wish I could tell you. So many moments I wish you were here for. Life has continued moving, but a part of me still feels like it stopped the day I lost you. I’ll forever cherish every laugh, every argument, every stupid moment, every late-night conversation, and every memory we made. Thank you for giving me a friendship that felt like family. Thank you for knowing me in a way that not many people ever will. I miss your laugh. I miss your energy. I miss your presence. I miss the person I was when I was with you. 3 years, 10 months, and 25 days later, and I still miss you like it was yesterday. I don’t know if grief ever truly gets easier. I think we just learn how to carry it. I love you forever, Alize. 🤍 Until we meet again, my best friend, my sister. 🕊️ #fyp #A4A
