There are battles in the spirit that cannot be overcome by good intentions alone. You can have convictions, structure, and discipline, yet still discover that your soul is under pressure. The Bible says, “Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16. The answer is not merely trying harder. It is learning to walk deeper with God. Protect your soul. Guard your consecration. If you must burn a bridge to preserve your purity, burn it. It is better to lose a relationship, opportunity, or pleasure than to lose your fellowship with God.
