oh definitely get a financial advisor my babes, especially as a married couple. I financial advisor will also keep you accountable so you can meet all your financial goals like maybe invest a specific account every month.... because you know that every 6 months or once a year you have to answer to your financial advisor... It really does keeps you accountable. Just make sure they don't charge you in percentages but instead hours...

With my wife and I it’s always been a what’s yours is mine and what’s mine is yours construct intentionally building for the collective good with total transparency and an intentional plan foward for growth for the collective, be in in building wealth and intensional support for education/ opportunities. I definitely want to be more open with my kids about how to budget & spend money cause that's something my parents never really taught us. we never knew how much they got paid & who paid what & why, which I think is something that's important for kids to have a realistic understanding so that when they grow up they aren't too shocked at the cost of things especially stuff like bond or rent, groceries, rates etc.
