What's weird is that she remembers having it, knowing how much it, where's it's kept and when it went missing but forgets giving it. Help me understand 😂

If you are an african person working in old people's home, please, don't ever collect gifts from any elderly patient, make sure you inform your supervisor immediately.

Get an individual to witness the gift, record the transaction on camera and report it to your company.

Knowing fully well she has dementia she should never have collected it and even if the patient insisted she should have told her manager about it, that leaves the case opened

She should have recorded it, so she would have an evidence, that was only a gift. Perhaps the elderly lady suffered from dementia.

Just to be safe, DO NOT ACCEPT ANY GIFT from clients, dementia or not. Why would you even want to accept £1000 while on duty. It might be a set up or a test, not to talk of mentioning it to your employer. Even if you declare it, how do you think they will look at you afterwards? please use your number six!!!
