I love this for so many reasons. In highschool nobody understood why I dressed up every single day instead of showing up in tshirts & jeans. In a district of three schools I found out that everyone knew who I was because of this habit. This is also so important coming from black and brown women who have historically always been judged by their appearance. I was the only Mexican girl at an all white highschool. There's obviously more than one reason I stood out. Listen to these women.....they know what to do to turn that gaze in their favor. 😉
