confusing how 3 separate shootings happened a few hours apart and the cops weren't still in the area after the first one? they have a hell of a lot of time whenever I see 5 squad cars pulled up next to a homeless encampment. I'm sure this will get blamed on the mayor or anyone else but the actual cops whose full job is public safety.

Let's be honest...Total of 7 shooting over labor day weekend. And I even saw a video at the water front of a street take over. One of the shooting in belltown was a teenager. And they were found by a tourist leaving the cruise ship. So tell us again we are over acting. Seattle Mayor is clueless and should just step down and let a real Mayor take over because right now its out of control.

I live in Belltown if he spent one night in my apartment in the last 14 years he would call it quiet. Rent has doubled as well as my poor houseless neighbors. All the city does is sweep and trash their tents. No cop is around unless someone is bleeding out or getting a parking ticket. Literally he has no idea what it is like to live here. NONE of our leaders or cops live here. Make the rent lower. Make more facilities for homeless people to use like bathrooms and laundry . Job placement and shelters have too many restrictions and limited resources. MAKE IT EASIER they are dying in the streets and their drug dealers have all the power. The grocery store doesn't work on credit but the dealers do. You wonder why and how homeless people can find drugs when this city gave them no other choice
