I am seven years into school runs, two kids. Let me tell you, you could wake up at 3am but those kids will always do something, or there will always be some incident, or someone will always be in the wrong mood to listen or do what they do EVERY DAY, meaning you will always, ALWAYS be panic screaming instructions by the time it comes to leaving the house 🤯🤯😂😂

I also didn’t put a coat my son because a- I thought it won’t rain for long and b- I thought it had to be black to be school uniform approved… he was only one without one and all the other kids had different shades and colours… yep… day 3

I’m laughing with you because the anxiety of being late is so high for the last few days we’ve got to school so early we’ve had to sit and wait in the car for like 20 mins 😂😂😂 She doesn’t get one second alone to go rogue. Today I have a full day so I was rushed getting her and all my bags into the car and got to where we park for school and then turned round to look at her and realised I’d forgotten to buckle her seatbelt 😳

😂😂😂😂 The school run is literally the hunger games!! Every day different no matter how much you prep and I’m a prep freak!! Yup!! These kids love to give us extra activities to test how well we work under pressure

GIRL are you me?? we were running late today & i also realised- they are NOT opening that door/gate until it's literally the exact time to go in. It's why i didn't wanna be too early today because it was raining so heavily. my daughter decided to walk so slow & ended up running (a little) late on day 2 😂

The rule is, rain or shine, schools can be late to open the gate and / or dismiss the kids at the end of the day, it doesn't matter if you have somewhere to be. BUT if you arrive 1 second after the gate closes, you WILL get a late mark and a dirty look from the school office.

Tbf last year my son managed to tip a FULL bowl of cereal and milk onto the TOP of his head all down his body. Every inch of him, the floor, the table. Didn’t even realise how much milk was in that bowl. It was 8.45am.
