I agree with everything you said. But for me, what I’ve noticed a lot as well is a lot of these individuals who participate in gossip and slander do it because it’s fun for them and they want to connect with each other through that way. Most people will go along and laugh as well because most people are scared of being ostracized as well. I’m glad to see you have principles, your a rare breed

You’re overthinking it, people themselves don’t know why they do this - I remember a bishop got stabbed here in Sydney on TikTok live and then someone posted a fb account of alleged perpetrator, and everyone assumed it was him without even considering an alternative explanation - the bloke had nothing to do with it, same thing happened here
