@back2fitnessldn: 🛑 ACL REHAB: DON’T IGNORE THE SWELLING 👉 One of the simplest checks I use after ACL reconstruction is the Sweep Test 👇 ✅ It helps identify knee joint effusion (swelling) — even when the knee doesn’t look obviously swollen. 👉 Why does this matter? Because swelling can affect: ❌ Knee range of motion ❌ Quadriceps activation ❌ Muscle strength ❌ Your ability to progress training 👉 If the Sweep Test shows increased fluid, I can use that information to adjust your rehab load rather than simply pushing through. 👉 The goal isn’t just to make the knee stronger, it’s to make sure the knee is ready for the next stage of rehab. ➡️ Small assessment. Big impact on your rehab plan. 👉 Recovering from ACL surgery? DM “ACL” and let’s build your rehab around where your knee is today, not just how many weeks post-op you are. #back2fitnesslondon #aclrehab #aclrecovery #aclinjury #football
