Honestly, I feel the pastor had a point about being careful with what we say and the importance of home training, especially if the things she said publicly were believed to have contributed to what happened to her. But I don't agree with saying at her funeral that “if she had home training, she wouldn't have died.” Nobody can know for sure that her death happened because of her upbringing. There was a better and more respectful way to pass the same message without making it seem like the deceased was responsible for her own death.
