I'm not a parent, but I'd be pretty weirded out by even a cop just walking into my house. I feel like this is illegal? like, cool, nice cop trying to help a kid over his fears, bro don't just walk into my house. I think I'd feel more ok if the cops brought the kid out and then tried to wake me or something other than just walking around making themselves comfortable.
