I feel like you’re not ready for marriage if you’re so focused on someone’s past that you can’t see who they are in the present. It’s completely valid to ask whether someone has been married before, but ultimately you’re marrying who that person is now and who they’re actively striving to become for the sake of Allah. Having your own preferences is one thing, but shaming someone for a sin they may have sincerely repented from is another. Allah can forgive someone and completely transform their heart. And we should be humble about the sins of others because who’s to say we ourselves could never fall into the very sin we’re judging? 🤗

I think both sides are understandable because if you urself have stayed pure in terms of committing zina then ofc u have every right to expect the same of a potential partner but conversely, as Muslims we should keep our sins hidden regardless so really and truly ur future wife shouldn't tell she has kissed anyone even if she has but regarding this generation they are right in the sense that finding someone chaste and untouched is difficult so I believe either mindset is perfectly valid
