@atthebuzzeruk: Adidas introduced us to the sleeved style jersey in 2013, with the Golden State Warriors becoming the first team to wear them on an NBA court. The idea was to provide a jersey that felt more like a T-shirt, making it easier for fans to wear away from the court. They were also designed to be lighter than traditional uniforms. Not everyone loved them though as LeBron James famously complained about the sleeves affecting his shooting motion, and the experiment remained seriously divisive. When Nike took over the NBA uniform contract in 2017 it was game over for the sleeves. They were only around for a few seasons but they’ve left us with some of the most striking jersey designs from the 2010’s era. From a personal perspective I do enjoy collecting the sleeved jerseys as they are easy to wear on a daily basis while reppin’ the NBA and I think they will be collectors items in years to come. Did you enjoy the sleeved jersey era? ▪️ Nba jersey | Kobe Bryant | warriors | Steph curry | basketball jersey | hoops | nba style | LeBron James
