In MU 2016, there was no Filipino judge in either the preliminary competition or the final coronation night. I think it’s quite understandable that a host country’s representative may receive some advantage, but also Maxine did a great job as well. But notice how she failed to advance after the Top 6 Q&A? That, to me, is an example of fairness. This is where Vietnam failed during the Head-to-Head Q&A between the Philippines and Vietnam at the last Miss World. Obviously, your candidate didn’t give the best answer, yet she still advanced to the Top 6. Fair? Definitely not. And whatever you say, Vietnam will never come close to the Philippines when it comes to being a true pageant powerhouse.
