I had acid reflux before I was pregnant, so it feels like nothing has changed 😭 I’m currently sleeping upright on the sofa with pillows, for me it’s my ribs and upper back that’s causing me sooo much pain 🥺

I’ve had this from really early on and still awful, but my doctor said there’s nothing they can do. Gaviscon just makes me sick because of the texture

I went to GP at 24 weeks as I was drinking gaviscon and saw a male GP who refused to prescribe anything as ‘it will go when baby is born’ but I was being sick with it too.

I’d never experienced heartburn until I was pregnant, I remember having to explain to the pharmacist assistant what I was feeling. And I told her it felt like I just swallowed a dragon. 😂 She lead me straight over to the Gaviscon, and gave me her recommendation.

Yes omeprazole is helping me but i still get the reflux minus the acid which sounds weird but still have liquid shoot up my throat but less acidic xx 34&5 x

I never suffered with acid reflux with my first two but then I had my third and by hell it came for all three of them😂 I’m currently 35 + 4 days with my forty and final baby and I’ve just become best friends with large glasses of milk and rennie chewable tablets now😂😂 Thankfully now she’s dropped a considerable amount it’s eased slightly now🙏🏼

Genuinely Thiught I was having a heart attack one night because of how bad it was I couldn’t breathe 😭 drink gaviscon and milk like my life depends on it because it feels like my life actually DOES depend on it 😅
