All this shenanigans of young men and women violently stopping the movement of a presidential candidate into their state must stop immediately. Nigeria belongs to all of us. It is in the interest of democracy that every candidate contesting for an elective position should be allowed to travel across the country, meet with the people, present their ideas, and convince voters in a peaceful and lawful manner. Please, do not stop any presidential candidate from meeting the people. If we continue to encourage such actions, we risk creating unnecessary tension and violence in our states. Remember, nobody has a monopoly on madness in this country. All we want is a free, fair, peaceful, and credible electioneering process where every candidate has the freedom to campaign and every citizen has the freedom to listen, make a choice, and vote.
