@vivandsook: HERO VS TRICKSTER Uranus Retrograde | September 10, 2026 to February 8, 2027 There comes a point in life when being the Hero stops working. The Hero asks:
“How do I overcome this?” The Trickster asks:
“Do I actually need to overcome it, or do I need to find another way through?” The Hero develops courage, ambition, discipline and competence. We need it. But eventually life gives us problems that cannot simply be conquered through greater effort. Ageing. Loss. Changing relationships. Career disappointment. Limits. The uncomfortable discovery that doing everything “right” does not guarantee the outcome we imagined. This is where the Trickster becomes useful. The Trickster adapts. Improvises. Questions the rules. Finds the third option. And, importantly, learns to laugh at the identities we once took terribly seriously. But the mature Trickster is not an excuse for chaos. Breaking the rules is easy. Taking responsibility for what happens after you break them is maturity. As Uranus retrogrades through Mercury-ruled Gemini, this archetype feels particularly relevant. Where has persistence become rigidity? Where are you still trying to win when you actually need to adapt? What rule are you following simply because you've always followed it? And what possibility have you dismissed because it doesn't fit the person you thought you were supposed to become? You may have needed the Hero to build your life.
You may need the Trickster to adapt when that life inevitably changes. Only Love,

Interesting. My partner is a Gemini rising, Leo sun conjunct mercury, 2nd house; which is conjunct my ascendant.
