The world is hot garbage after 2000 years of Christianity, even after it had spread to nearly all of the western worlds population and beyond over the past 1000 years. It is not meant to help people here much, but to assure them their afterlife will be eternally awesome while eternally awful for everyone else. It claims it is good for departed saved souls, not for souls still chained to flesh, and not for unredeemed souls. This creates a passive people that can be used for whatever purposes those who run this world deem necessary. It is expressly bad for humanity itself. If you believe all this absurd garbage, otherwise you toss it and get on with life.
