@startoverstrategy: I spent years being afraid that focusing too much on money would make me materialistic. But now, as a divorced former tradwife rebuilding financially in midlife, I see it very differently. Not learning about money didn’t make me more virtuous. It made me more financially vulnerable. There is nothing greedy about wanting to pay your bills without fear. Build an emergency fund. Invest. Prepare for retirement. Help your children. Have choices. Create margin. Or simply know that one unexpected crisis won’t wipe you out. Especially for women who spent years financially dependent on a spouse, learning how to earn, manage and grow money isn’t materialism. It’s a skill we should have been developing all along. I’m still learning it now. And I’m becoming far more comfortable saying this: I want to make good money. I want to build wealth. And I want other divorced former tradwives to learn how to do it too. #StartOverStrategy #DivorcedFormerTradwife #WomenAndMoney #FinancialIndependence #StartingOverAfterDivorce
