And when you deliberately recognise Allah in the small things, you begin training your heart and tongue in Shukr. So when something significant happens… Gratitude is no longer something you have to force. It has already become part of you. Don’t wait for a massive blessing to become grateful. Notice what Allah is giving you RIGHT NOW. Train your tongue: Alḥamdulillāh. Until, by Allah’s permission, you become from the Shākirīn — the grateful ones.
