That’s hard for so many women. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, but I’ve been grateful that surgery made me feel like myself again. Perimenopause (before surgery) made me feel like an insane monster. I swear I was allergic to my own hormones, too, so getting my ovaries & everything else out removed that issues. I’m on HRT & finally have more energy & mental clarity. I hope that happens for you too!!! I’m 4 months post-op.

This mental roller-coaster is going to be the end of me. Definitely feel the identity like you said. I have to keep reminding myself I am still a woman. The questions of oh are you ok? I think that question means physical ok. No they mean not having more kids. Ma'am I knew 7 years ago when I had my falopian tubes taken out that I didn't want no more kids.

I’ve had to be so intentional about the media I’m watching/reading/listening to. I’m trying to keep things as positive as I can, because I’ve cried over so many small things since surgery. Doesn’t help my kids love Bluey, bc there’s always a few episodes that get me lol🥲

My hormone are fucked up also brain fog ect... i'm having surgery in a week... living in severe pain 24 7 is not human i feel you we got this 🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

the unexpected emotional part after surgery is so real 😭 nobody talks about it enough! i was literally all over the place with my chronic pain, so i started logging my mood and how i felt in the Endora app to make sense of it all💝💝
