@ryprickett: 🚅 Why link your Suica to your Shinkansen ticket? Because it makes boarding SO much more seamless! Here’s how to do it 👇🏼 1️⃣ Book your Shinkansen ticket through the SmartEX app 2️⃣ In the SmartEX app, go to Settings → IC Card Information 3️⃣ Copy your Suica ID from the Suica app (it starts with JE followed by a bunch of numbers) and paste it into SmartEX. Save it! 4️⃣ Go back to your Shinkansen ticket. You’ll see “Designate IC” — tap that and select the Suica you just linked. ✨ That’s it! Your Shinkansen ticket is linked to your Suica, so you can just tap your Suica at the Shinkansen gates instead of pulling up your ticket.
