@momma.nurse7: I never started this because I hated nursing. I didn’t. I started because I looked at our life, our bills, our future and eventually retirement—and realized I wanted another option besides depending only on our regular paychecks. So I learned something completely outside of nursing.😳 Almost a year later, I’ve built an additional stream of income that’s given us real breathing room. It’s helped with real-life things. A stove that unexpectedly needed replacing. Airline tickets to see my son. Extra money coming in that wasn’t already spoken for before it arrived. And I’ve learned a skill I didn’t have a year ago. That’s the part I want other nurses to understand. You don’t have to hate your career to want more options outside of it. I still love being an RN. ❤️ I just don’t want nursing to be my only financial plan. If you’re a nurse who’s been thinking the same thing, reach out to me.
