Because it is the superintendent's responsibility to make sure that schedules are maintained in any possible materials needed are between the project manager and the supplier. the Foreman tells the crew what to do. It's not his responsibility to do your job. And the project managers

Got yelled at today for complaining about the DOT making us track our machines 4 miles to the job site. Labor hand said I was complaining to super and forman. My forman left the job without saying a word , storm off and won’t talk to me. We had 6 other sites to do. I tried talking to him clear the air. He won’t even address the conversation. I don’t need to plan. I already know what needs done the next day. The same thing you’re doing that day most construction jobs are repetitive yeah you get through curve balls here and there but for the most part, it’s the same every day new construction you’re laying out and going like crazy if it’s a re-roof you’re tearing off and putting back if you’ve done your job right most of materials there for 90% of the job you get down to your last five days that’s when you have to start watching your material
